🧵 Stitch Studio Mini Quilters

For ages 8–12 years

Stitch Studio Mini Quilters is a creative after-school sewing club designed for children who would like to develop their sewing skills while creating a beautiful quilt of their very own.

Over six weeks, children will learn how to safely use a sewing machine, explore colour and fabric choices, sew patchwork blocks and discover how quilts are made. Working step-by-step with guidance and encouragement throughout, they'll create a handmade quilt to take home and treasure.

Designed to be fun, welcoming and supportive, Mini Quilters encourages creativity, patience, confidence and problem-solving while teaching practical sewing skills that can last a lifetime.

Class Details

When: Tuesdays, 4pm–5.30pm

Dates: 8th September – 13th October 2026

Where: Stitch Studio, Brackla

Who: Children aged 8–12 years

Cost: £72 for the full 6-week course

Every session is taught by a registered, insured professional tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience. Now in its 14th year, Stitch Bridgend has helped thousands of students discover creativity, confidence and the joy of making something with their own hands.

Spaces are limited to just 8 children to ensure every Mini Quilter receives plenty of individual support throughout the course.
